The Temple of Apollo will greet you upon arrival, and once the boat has anchored, prepare to become engrossed in the island’s alluring ambiance. Even the pickiest visitors will be enthralled by Aegina’s neoclassical architecture, picturesque streets & sites with vast historical significance. Treat yourself to Aegina’s high-quality pistachio nut (don’t forget to try the impeccable pistachio ice cream!), or picture yourself enjoying “katsoules” and a glass of Greek wine in one of the many seafood taverns! Swim & relax in the most spectacular long sandy part between Megalochori & Skala while admiring the most significant island’s landmark, “the blue dome,” and don’t forget to pick up some of the most delicious pine honey from the local market to bring back home. For adventure lovers, an optional bike tour between Megalochori & Chalikiada is the perfect way to explore more of the island’s panorama.
